Remotes for Your Window Treatments!

Some windows are difficult to reach due to obstacles, or the height or placement of the windows may not be accessible.  If you have this situation, you may consider installing remote window treatments.

My client had selected a beautiful and fun bedding ensemble, Michael Amini, which had some animal print mix, (see photo below, upper left-hand corner fabric).

The MasterBath Window Treatments needed to coordinate with her new bedding! And she wanted to avoid stepping into her tub every time she wanted to open and close the window treatments.

The solution: Flat Roman Shades with one remote to control the opening and closing of both shades. With this remote you have two options.  Option 1-allows one shade to be opened.  Option 2- an option to open and close both at the same time.  (Husbands will love this feature!-It's a Remote!)

The fabrics chosen to coordinate with the bedding are below.  A mock valance in the black silk bird fabric was attached at the top.  The body of the Flat Roman was constructed in the gold animal print.  Then the fabulous black and gold band was attached along the bottom! Her bedding fabric is in the upper-left corner here.

Here are the results of functional and beautiful window treatments!

There are several styles of Roman Shades, and they are great to use with any decor, whether your style is casual or a little more formal.  The fabric and trim sets the tone, but Romans can go into any room.

Peri Nicole Interiors would love to help with your next window treatments! And tell the husbands they can have another remote! Hopefully one not so irritating when in use!

NEW HOME, NEW LOOK!

My newlywed clients, (I will call them "The Lovebirds"), have to go in a record book somewhere! They moved into their newly constructed home this past Thursday, and on Saturday I was there to decorate!

After our initial consultation, (before Thanksgiving), I went to work selecting paint colors, furniture, a rug, artwork and accessories for their new home.  They have a large extended family, who will frequent their home often.  Extra seating was necessary for future family visits and gatherings.

Take a look at this week's results!

Here is the construction phase of the house when I first met my clients.

Once the TV's and additonal window treatments are installed, their new place will feel like home.
The "Love Birds" will be happy to entertain their family and friends for many happy occasions to come! Cheers to them!
