AFTER-The photo of our finished room! A beautiful room to actually "live" in! Read below how we accomplished this look! |
This blog is the continuation of my "month-long" project recently completed. Earlier in the week we blogged about the homeowners Family Room, but wanted to also show the other portion of our project for this family. Their Living Room was not used as you can see in the "before" photo, below. As their children continue to grow, my clients wanted to have a quiet place to read, talk on the phone and rest.

BEFORE PHOTO OF LIVING ROOM-The room had great potential with a view of a beautiful back yard and pool!

BEFORE-The Living Room was never used or furnished. Great for kids and balls though! Beautiful hardwood floors and molding set the stage. Our work began....

During-Peri Nicole Interiors set out selecting a durable, yet stylish sofa for the Living Room space. This perfect sofa was selected with durable fabric for parents, kids and pets, while adding texture, style and color to the room. The leather nailhead detail relaxes the style, and reversible cushions!! Added bonus! Love the wood carved details, too! |
|
Since we had a clean slate to start with, this great piece of custom art by Julie Farley was selected! It has beautiful pieces of turquoise running throughout the art canvas. This piece to set the tone for the room! Beautiful!

ACCESSORIES-This Gallery Design lamp has a beautiful teal shade which ties in with the art piece above. The end table has a beautiful distressed wood finish, with a touch of iron. A few key accesories i.e. the clock and simple succulent plants were added to the end table and coffee table. Succulent plants are hot right now!!

AFTER-This beautiful, hand-painted chest and mirror were placed on this long wall across from the sofa! The mirror adds light along with the matching lamps! (Much needed in a previously dark room). Another pop of color was added with a piece of pottery. This client loves horses so we brought her beautiful horse saddle into the room and placed it beside the chest! Personal items are important to make a space feel like home!!She loved it!

|
AFTER-Since more lighting was needed in this room, we placed a table and lamp in the curve of the staircase. It is always nice to have tablescapes to add family photos and more personal items of interest.

AFTER-Our iron ladies are raising their light to the homeowners for a room they will enjoy! Start using your "Living Room" space. Peri Nicole Interiors would love to help transform your rooms so you are making the most of your spaces.!
Until next time.....
